Our partnerships with Eastwood Park National Training Centre and Kingston University have given rise to a wide range of biomedical equipment training programmes, all of which are detailed below. Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Practice

Designed with the less experienced technician in mind, this course will privde delegates with a good understanding of biomedical principles, applications and maintenance procedures.


Servicing Anaesthetic Equipment

The course will provide an excellent foundation for medical engineering staff who are to be involved with the maintenance of anaesthetic equipment.


Servicing Ventilation Equipment

This course aims to provide a working knowledge of ventilators used in theatres, ITU and special care baby units.


Safety Testing of Electrical Medical Equipment

This course will give delegates a sound understanding of the philosophy behind safety testing of electrical medical equipment. This understanding will then enable participants to select and apply appropriate testing techniques to a range of equipment. Suitable for staff requiring either an update or refresher.


Foundation Degree

In partnership with Eastwood Park and Kingston University, and in association with the Sector Skills Councils of Skills for Health and SEMTA, the Department of Health, IHEEM and the IDSc, has developed a Foundation Degree for multiple areas of medical technology.
