Our Experience:
- Direct involvement in the writing of the UK’s National Occupational Standards for Medical Equipment Servicing for SEMTA (the Sector Skills Council for Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies in the UK).
- Delivery of all biomedical equipment training programs at the former NHS National Training Facility, Falfield (Eastwood Park).
- Leading on the development and delivery of Kingston University’s Medical Equipment Technology Foundation Degree.
Certification & Standards:
- All equipment serviced and maintained as per manufacturers guidelines and or statutory requirements (Medical Equipment: IEC 60601, Lab Equipment: IEC 61010)
- Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) as detailed by the Electrical Safety at Work Regulations 1989 and Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
- All electrical equipment tested in accordance with MDA DB 2006(05), BSEN 60601-1 and manufacturers’ own guidelines.
