Avensys Training COVID-19 Safety Measures

The Avensys Training Academy has re-opened this week, in line with the relaxation of lockdown rules in England. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 corona virus situation through the World Health Organisation, Public Health England and the UK Government website to minimise the effect on our business, staff and customers. Our team are now taking bookings for training courses.

To ensure that we are doing everything we can to stop the spread of coronavirus, we have implemented new measures in our training academy to keep our learners and staff safe.

Upon arrival at our training academy in Kidderminster all learners will be lateral flow tested, this is to check for coronavirus infections. Only after receiving a negative test will learners be admitted into the training building. The number of learners booked onto each course has been limited to guarantee adequate space for social distancing in classrooms and workshops. Within the academy building we have now implemented a one-way system to minimise contact between learners when passing through corridors and doorways. Hand cleaning stations have been installed throughout the building, to provide access to hand sanitiser when entering or exiting the academy. In addition to hand sanitising, we are thoroughly cleaning all areas which learners come in contact with. Face masks must be worn during all practical sessions, where social distancing may be limited, and when travelling around the building.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and will advise of any changes in circumstances to Avensys Training. Should circumstance develop and require as much, we have a detailed response plan in place to ensure continuation of our services.

If you have any questions about our coronavirus practices, please get in touch.
