You may have heard of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
It is an EU regulation that introduces new data protection of personal data, which is effective from 25th May 2018.
Avensys are updating policies and implementing systems to ensure we will be GDPR compliant by the deadline. This means we will be transparent in how we use personal data and will the have measures in place to comply with the principles and requirements of GDPR before the deadline.
Avensys are committed to safeguarding all personal data and are implementing systems to ensure any data collected is stored safely and securely. Data will not be passed to third party companies, unless we are required to do so by law. You have the right to ask for a copy of your data held in our records, in return for payment of a small fee. You also have the right to request us to correct any inaccuracies.
We currently store contact details which are used for day-to-day business use, for any service agreements we have with you. We also use these to keep in touch with you about any company innovations, offers and announcements with reference to all divisions within the companies.
