Avensys Training Academy returns to Kidderminster: A new chapter for professional Learning

Avensys is proud to announce that from 6th July 2026, our training provision will be returning to our headquarters in Kidderminster. This move marks a new chapter and strengthens our commitment to delivering high-quality, industry-relevant training.

Bringing Learning Closer to the Real World environment

Bringing learning back to our Kidderminster HQ places it at the heart of Avensys, in a more connected environment where professional training can be shaped by real industry activity.

The move brings three benefits for our learners and our training programmes.

First, it makes course development sharper. Being based at our headquarters keeps content aligned with the direction of the business and with current industry standards, which makes it easier to introduce new topics, adapt existing courses, and ensure learners are gaining skills that are genuinely in demand.

Second, it gives learners a setting that sits within a working engineering environment. Training remains structured, classroom-based, and practical, but being located alongside HQ reinforces the standards, expectations, and pace of a real workplace. This helps learners better understand the environments they are preparing to enter.

Third, the move improves the overall quality and consistency of training delivery. With better access to facilities, resources, and a more consistent delivery environment, Avensys can offer a more reliable, up-to-date, and career-focused learning experience.

Industry standard training facilities

The move to Kidderminster does not mean any compromise in quality. Our specialist mock ward and operating room facilities will remain a key part of the training environment, allowing learners to develop and practise their skills in realistic healthcare settings.

These facilities support hands-on learning and keep training closely aligned with real-world healthcare environments.

Gary Rudd, Managing Director at Avensys, said: “Returning to Kidderminster allows us to create a learning space designed specifically for adult learners and professional development. Being based at the Avensys HQ also reinforces the standards expected in real working environments, helping learners feel more prepared for future opportunities in the healthcare and professional sectors.”

A Better Experience for Adult Learners

The move to Kidderminster allows us to create a learning space specifically designed for adult learners and professional development. Our aim is to provide a focused and supportive environment where learners can build confidence, develop practical skills, and progress within their careers.
