Human Factors is all about optimising human performance. The World Health Organization describe it as the study of all the factors that make it easier to do the work in the right way. Understanding and applying a HF approach in the health setting can enhance the way healthcare is delivered and received. The understanding of HF will improve performance, reduce errors and increase patient safety.
