Avensys resale service: Why it matters

In today’s world, sustainability is a guiding force in almost every industry. The healthcare sector is no exception, with a growing emphasis on reducing waste and maximising the lifespan of valuable medical equipment. This is why Avensys is passionate about our Resale service. This not only benefits healthcare facilities by offering cost-effective solutions but also contributes to a greener, more sustainable future for the healthcare industry.

Avensys’ Resale Service is designed to bridge the gap between healthcare organisations seeking cost-efficient equipment solutions and those looking to offload their well-maintained, old medical devices.

Here’s how this service is making a different

Quality Assurance: Avensys thoroughly inspects and tests all pre-owned equipment before listing them for resale. This process ensures that buyers receive reliable, fully functional equipment that comes with a warranty.

Cost Savings: Resale services empower healthcare organisations to acquire high-quality medical equipment at a fraction of the cost of purchasing brand-new devices. This cost-effectiveness allows organisations to allocate resources for other critical needs.

Equipment Lifecycle Extension: By facilitating the resale of medical equipment, Avensys contributes to extending the lifecycle of devices, reducing waste, and promoting sustainable practices within the healthcare sector.

Eco-Friendly Approach: The resale of medical equipment not only benefits the buyers and seller but also supports eco-friendly practices by minimizing the disposal of functional devices that still have significant value to offer.

Equipment Range: Avensys Resale Service covers a large range of medical equipment, catering to various healthcare needs, specialities, and budgets. This allows healthcare organisations to find the perfect fit for their requirements.

The impact of Avensys’ Resale Service goes beyond individual healthcare organisations. This sustainable approach to acquiring medical equipment means organisations contribute to reducing the overall environmental footprint of the industry. This creates a more resilient and responsible healthcare system, all while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Our Resale Service isn’t just about buying and selling medical equipment; it’s about growing sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and responsible resource management within the healthcare sector. As the industry continues to evolve, embracing innovative solutions like these is a step towards a more efficient, eco-conscious, and financially stable future for healthcare facilities worldwide. Through this service, we show our commitment to revolutionising healthcare for the better.

Avensys training at the IoT upgrades

We’re thrilled to announce some major upgrades that are set to revolutionise the way we learn and collaborate in the realm of healthcare technology.

We’ve introduced new technologies and features that really make our courses come alive, giving practical, hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the complexities of working in a medical environment.

What’s New and Exciting:

Upgraded Server Infrastructure: Our upgraded server infrastructure enables us to provide an accurate, true-to-life setup, providing a solid foundation for your learning

New Hardware: Each device is set up to replicate hospital systems all over the UK, enabling you to explore complex networking concepts with ease.

Linked Medical Equipment Simulation: An immersive, hands-on experience! Our linked medical equipment simulation enables you to interact with medical devices just like in a real hospital, allowing you to understand network integration and troubleshoot connections in a safe and controlled environment.

Collaborative Learning: Engage in collaborative projects and group discussions using our enhanced networking setup. Seamlessly connect and work together with fellow learners, mirroring real-world scenarios for comprehensive skill-building.

Medical Simulation Mannequins: These highly sophisticated mannequins offer a bridge between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications, providing engineers with a valuable tool to ensure that the medical equipment that they have fixed is working effectively.

So how will these help?

Realistic Scenarios: these mannequins replicate human anatomy, physiological responses, and even realistic medical scenarios. This level of detail enables medical engineers in training to conduct thorough testing and assessments of various medical devices and equipment in a controlled environment before they are deployed in real hospital settings. ensuring that devices perform when it truly matters.

Skill Refinement: Using mannequins for Biomedical engineering training allows engineers to refine their skills and improve their competency in fixing and diagnosing medical devices. Practising with lifelike mannequins allows for a safe space to make mistakes, learn from them, and gain confidence in equipment operation.

Immediate Feedback: mannequins can be programmed to provide immediate feedback on device input. This helps engineers to understand the impact of their actions on patients, leading to better decision-making and more effective equipment evaluation.

Patient Safety: Testing fixed equipment on the mannequins ensures that any potential issues or malfunctions are identified and rectified before they would impact real patients.

Employees of the month

Big congratulations to the winners of our ‘Employee of the Month Award’ for August!

Our engineering employee of the month is Tony Bircham, Tony is hard working, dedicated and goes above and beyond to help. Always a pleasure to work with, and has been invaluable in helping with a new contract going through the implementation process. He’s also gone above and beyond, carrying out an unscheduled visit to provide additional support to a customer.

Our non-engineer employee of the month is Emma Branford, As well as keeping on top of her own workload, Emma is always one of the first people to say she will help. She is upbeat no matter what is going on and is very kind to everyone. Emma really does deserve this!
